Description: Designed in 1987 with the advice of three artists that are well-known all over the world – Jacques Lancelot, Guy Deplus and Michel Arrignon – the Festival clarinet meets the requirements of today’s musicians, soloists and teachers interpreting the widest possible repertoire of works, from Mozart to Boulez.
Greenline: resilient to weather without sacrificing sound
Buffet Crampon developed the Greenline series in 1994 as a way to produce a professional instrument that can withstand admirably to variations in atmospheric conditions (temperature, humidity), but also reduce the manufacturing impact on the African grenadilla wood population. The body is constructed of 95% grenadilla wood and 5% polycarbonate fiber and epoxy resin. This gives it a much higher resistance to the effects of temperature and humidity changes, especially preventing any cracking.
