The Presence was developed through extremely thorough research regarding the size and location of tone holes as well as the precise placement and alignment of the keys. Selmer's in-depth research has produced a beautiful new professional instrument at a premium price. The Presence has a rich homogenous sound throughout the entire instrument. Its rich balanced sound is even and responsive from top to bottom. The strong balanced sound pallet allows for unrivaled control and accurate intonation.
Its body is constructed out of premium aged grenadilla wood and padded with Valentino synthetic pads The key features of the Presence are comfortable silver key work, adjustable thumb rest, metal tenon rings and a 65.5 barrel. Also included with the clarinet is a plush SeleS case, a Selmer Paris Concept mouthpiece and other accessories.

Due to the features of the material and production process we use on the upper joints, the following advantages are achieved:
- Greater stability in dimensional variation: the bore does not move or change and the reliability of the fit of the barrel onto the upper joint is improved
- Waterproof: no more cracks
- Better thermal conductivity: the instrument heats up and gets to pitch more quickly
- Smoother response on all registers
- Each evolution upper joint is indicated with a small star near the serial number
Thanks to its innovative bore design, this clarinet has unique acoustic qualities that provide ease of emission, exceptional homogeneity and above all an instrument that is easy to play. The sound of the Presence Evolution clarinet is a mix of harmonic richness, and timbre; essential characteristics to the instrument. Also, the research done on the position and size of the tone holes has given this clarinet unrivaled intonation. Specifically designed keys, as well as new key orientations and positions, provide unmatched mechanical precision and response combined with player comfort. Presence clarinets are available in B-flat and A with two key-work finishes available: silver or nickel as an option. An E-flat lever is also available as an option.
The grenadilla wood is selected, delicately worked, naturally treated, lacquered and waterproofed for protection and finish at the top of its class. This clarinet comes equipped with Valentino pads, preferred by many clarinetists and recommended by experienced repairers for their seal, stability, and durability.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
