Designed and overseen by David Rejano (Principal Trombone, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra), Rejano Mutes set out to solve issues that plague traditional practice mutes, such as a heavy weight, unstable pitch, excessive resistance and insufficient muting.
The innovative 3D printed designs weigh only 4 ounces for tenor trombone and 8 ounces for bass trombone, allowing longer practice sessions. Rejano mutes are made from durable materials, including a cork alternative that won't break down as quickly. These mutes offer a resistance that mimics the feel of playing without a mute in addition to a stable pitch.
Rejano Mutes are manufactured in California.

Best Practice Mute I Have Come Across!
I have tried a few other practice mutes and I really didn't like any of them - for various reasons. I like this one, though. The difference in sound reduction is amazing. And yet, I don't notice any problem with lower notes, as is usually the case with mutes. I'm using it in an apartment. I have complete confidence that my neighbors on the other side of the wall can not hear me; not even with their tv set off. That said, I would not hesitate to practice at any time of the day or night. It takes a bit of getting used to of course, but it's worth it for me. Thanks for stocking this mute and the ultra-fast delivery!
