The handmade Signature flute is the most economically priced handmade solid sterling silver flute available. It is completely made at the Powell workshop in Maynard, Massachusetts. The Signature flute body is made with drawn tone holes and the hand-built pinless mechanism. Signature flutes provide the “Powell Sound” with a quiet and reliable mechanism. The Signature style headjoint was specifically designed to accompany the Signature flute and is hand-cut by the same headjoint makers who make the Custom headjoints. These instruments easily provide the aspiring flutist with many years of room to grow.
The handmade Signature flute features a hand-cut sterling silver headjoint and body, open holes, B footjoint, pointed key arms, 10k gold springs, drawn tone holes, and inline or offset G key options. Each flute offers additional options for split E mechanism, C# trill key, D# roller, and upgraded headjoints.
